Tour of the FireFlies 2025
Mike McGee
My Story
π΄ββοΈ 10 years later, I'm back.
On June 8th, I return to the Alps with the Fireflies 2025 Tour exactly 10 years since my first Fireflies challenge. I will be riding 1000km and climbing 60,000ft over 8 days - to raise money for the Hammersmith Hospital Blood Cancer Unit.
Itβll be tough. But your support, in any amount, gives this ride real purpose and means a great deal to me.
Every day, more people I know and love are affected by this disease - and Iβm asking for your help.
π No donation is too small, or too big(!)
π Iβll match the first 50 donations of Β£20.
Thank you, Mike x

So, who are the Fireflies?
Every year in June, The FireFlies cycle over the Alps to the South of France.
The FireFlies are committed to raising money for The Blood Fund, a leading charity which funds research into the treatment of leukaemia and cancers of the blood in the Hammersmith Hospital. Inspired by the courage it takes to fight cancer, the riders tackle the gruelling climbs of the Tour de France.
